This course explores the theoretical concepts necessary for the care of clients with common health problems. Basic human needs and pathophysiology are explored and appropriate nursing care is determined. A greater understanding of the nursing process and NANDA nursing diagnoses are utilized to direct the care of clients across the lifespan. This course builds upon previous knowledge and integrates concepts from support courses. Prerequisite/Restriction: NURS 1010, NURS 1020, NURS 1030, NURS 1110, BIOL 2320, BIOL 2420, PSY 1010, FCHD 1500 Corequisite: NURS 1120, NURS 1130, NURS 1230, NURS 1240, BIOL 2060 Campus: USU Eastern only Semester(s) Traditionally Offered: Spring
