This theoretical course is the culmination of all prior nursing and support courses. It builds upon theoretical concepts and skills to meet holistic needs of clients. Concepts include the associate degree nursing role of provider care, manager of care, client educator, and member of the interdisciplinary team. While all NANDA domains are explored, specific units provide a focus on the Nutrition, Elimination, Perception/Cognition, Self-Perception and Coping/Stress Tolerance domains. Prerequisite/Restriction: NURS 2010, NURS 2020, NURS 2030, NURS 2120, MATH 1030, CHEM 1110 and CHEM 1115 Corequisite: NURS 2230 Campus: USU Eastern only Semester(s) Traditionally Offered: Spring
