Description:
Course may be used in preparation for the Honors Thesis and includes videotaping a project. Honors students are required to register for a minimum of 2 credit hours and volunteer an average of two hours per week. Students will assist Ballet West artistic staff or faculty of a private school of dance in teaching and choreographing its spring performance. This includes assisting with the planning and organization of the event, and performing business related activities such as advertising and ticket sales. Course relates directly to students planning to become professional teachers of ballet and other dance styles. Prerequisite: BALLE 4780 (may be taken concurrently).
