Integrates advanced data analytics and microbial ecology to provide experience analyzing real-world microbiome data sets and writing a publication. Covers topics in community ecology, numerical ecology, machine learning, genetic sequence data, symbiosis, and scientific writing. Offers a chance to collaborate with internal and external scientists to produce a manuscript for peer-review. Emphasizes effective collaboration strategies and reproducible methods.
