The Programmable Logic Controllers course teaches students to interface with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). PLC's are the brains of all modern automation technology systems. Students develop knowledge and a skill set in the following competencies: ladder logic, programming standards, hardware selection, various inputs and outputs, communication, troubleshooting, setup and installation. It is recommended that students complete TEAM 1050 and TEAM 1060 prior to taking this course. Semester(s):All
