Description:

The Department of Emergency Medicine offers a volunteer Research Assistant (RA) program for students interested in health related professions to gain hands-on clinical research experience in the emergency department (ED). RAs assist with participant screening, enrollment, and data collection for ED studies, providing valuable patient-facing experience. Participants commit to one 4-hour shift per week and ensure compliance with study protocols. Admission to this competitive program requires an application and interview process. Prerequisites: UofU GPA of 3.0+
