Description:
Students will visit Jeonju International Film Festival to experience the films, director Q & A's, events, and unique atmosphere that the event provides. Students will attend film screenings from the variety of programs hosted by Jeonju International Film Festival, as well as the Q & A's that take place with the directors to learn about the processes involved in indie filmmaking. Students will also attend the various events that are held by the festival, to hear from experts about important issues in the independent film industry. Following the festival, students will create a report about their experiences, including critical essays about the films watched, and what they learned about the Korean independent film industry.
