Students will learn about the origin, evolutionary history, diversity and adaptations of animals. Through comparative analysis of the major phyla of animals, students will see and understand both the broad evolutionary trends and the specific evolutionary adaptations that have led to the tremendous diversity of animals both historically and currently seen today.
