This course introduces students to the fundamentals of machine learning using Python and Anaconda integrated within the Excel environment. Students will learn to leverage Python's powerful libraries for data analysis, visualization, and machine learning as well as the same capability directly in Excel, enabling them to perform advanced data manipulation and predictive modeling. The goal is to expose students to the techniques of machine learning and its tremendous application potential in various disciplines, thus build the foundation for advance courses in this area. Throughout the course Civil, Environmental and Construction engineering examples will be used. Prerequisites: 'C' or better in (CVEEN 3210 OR CVEEN 3310 OR CVEEN 3410 OR CVEEN 3510 OR CVEEN 3520 OR CVEEN 3610 OR CVEEN 3700) AND Full Major status in (Civil Engineering OR Construction Engineering) AND not on CVEEN Academic Probation
