This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices involved in the management and remediation of hazardous and radioactive waste. The course will cover regulatory frameworks, waste characterization, treatment technologies, risk assessment, and site remediation strategies. By the end of this course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to design and implement effective waste management and remediation solutions. Prerequisites: 'C' or better in ((CVEEN 2140 AND CVEEN 3610) AND Major Status in (Civil Engineering OR Construction Engineering) AND not on CVEEN Academic Probation) OR Graduate Standing
