This advanced graduate-level course is designed for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner students to deepen their understanding and proficiency in mental health assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and treatment planning. Building upon the foundational knowledge gained in the NRSG 6222 Mental Health Assessment, Diagnostic Reasoning & Treatment I course, this second installment focuses on refining clinical skills, evidence-based practice, and critical thinking in the context of psychiatric nursing. Emphasis is placed on comprehensive mental health assessment, differential diagnosis, and the development of advanced treatment plans for individuals across the lifespan.
