(IL=Intermediate Low). This is a course for students who are heritage language learners of Spanish (grew up speaking Spanish in the home, but received most of their education in English). Students will read examples of writing in various modes (such as description, narration, exposition, and argument), write short compositions in those modes. This course builds on students' existing language foundation to enhance both their written and oral skills.
