Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Occupational Therapy Assistant program and University Advanced Standing. Focuses on kinesiology concepts and basic principles of biomechanics to understand how movement affects occupational performance. Reviews systems that include (but are not limited to) the central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, and musculoskeletal system. Includes formal and informal analysis and assessment of movement as well as analysis of movement in areas of occupation.Course lecture fee of $45 applies.
