Prerequisite(s): ART 1750 and University Advanced Standing; formal acceptance to the Art & Design Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BS), or Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Program, or department approval. Teaches historic photographic processes with an emphasis on early photographic capture and printing techniques. Includes preparation and exposure of paper using various historic techniques through a variety of hands-on processes. Teaches the chemistry utilized historically to make photographs. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credits toward graduation.. Course Lab fee of $50 applies.
