Prerequisite(s): EGDT 1400 and EGDT 1040. Focuses on state of the art surveying instrumentation and software applications emerging in the surveying and mapping profession. Integrates various field and office tasks to effectively employ various observation methods and techniques used by emerging technologies which may include Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), 3D laser scanners, data collection systems, computer-aided drafting (CAD) software, image and point cloud post-processing software, drone technologies, and other geospatial surveying systems.
