This course introduces graduate students to the theory and practice of marriage and family therapy (MFT). It is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the major MFT frameworks through lectures, videotapes, student presentations, and class discussions. Students will explore the theoretical underpinnings, strengths, weaknesses, and practical applications of the major MFT models, with a focus on cultural sensitivity and ethical considerations.
