    This is the capstone class for the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) Certificate. The class mostly consists of doing field experience at an organization that does work in the IECMH field and creating a capstone project. Over the course of the semester, you will have opportunities to apply what you have learned during FCS/PSY 3300 and other IECMH classes and opportunities to learn IECMH skills and knowledge in practice.

    This course provides a capstone experience for students pursuing a human factors certificate. Students conduct an independent research project under the supervision of a faculty member. The project allows them to demonstrate their ability to conduct sound and important Human Factors research as a measure of their knowledge of the field. Students produce a written report of the project using the formal guidelines of either the American Psychological Association for a journal article or the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society for a conference proceedings. Prerequisites: 'C' or better in (PSY 1010 OR PSY 1011 OR AP Psychology of 3+ OR IB Psychology of 5+ OR PSY CLEP score of 50+) AND PSY 3000 AND PSY 3010 AND Instructor Consent
