Focuses on the tools of basic principles of biochemistry and teaches how to use the tools to understand how exercise affects metabolism. Evaluates knowledge of physiological principles and training techniques used in strength and conditioning. Investigates guidelines from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Prepares students for several sections of the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist exam.
