Prerequisite(s): PSY 1010 (with C- grade or higher) and ENGL 2010 (with a C- or higher) or PSY 2-2- (with a C- or higher), and University Advanced Standing. Examines major concepts, theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and historical trends in the scientific study of behavior. Focuses on application of psychological principles to personal, social, and organizational issues, as appropriate. Stresses use of critical and creative thinking, skeptical inquiry, and the scientific approach to solve problems related to behavior.
